Astrea Six-Sided Oracles Description

So, there’s this game called Astrea, and it’s a roguelike that’s different from the usual deck-building games because instead of using cards, you play with dice. The whole game is about balancing between two things – Purification and Corruption. Purification lets you heal yourself or hurt enemies, while Corruption is risky because it can hurt you but also unlocks some powerful abilities. You can even heal enemies if you’re not careful!

What’s cool is that your health bar has skills attached to it. So, if you take on Corruption, you can use these skills to do crazy powerful moves. But if you take too much, the Corruption will take you down. You build a dice pool based on your style, with over 350 dice to choose from. Some are super safe, some are balanced, and some are risky but could give you huge rewards.

You also get to customize your dice by changing the faces, so you can tip the odds in your favor. There are six different Oracles you can play as, each with their dice and abilities. Whether you like using magic or brute force, there’s a character that matches how you want to play. Plus, you have these Sentinels that help you out by giving extra dice rolls during battles, and they’re like your little team on the side.

There are also over 170 Blessings that you can use to power up your Oracle. Some are smaller effects, but others are super strong with a little downside. And as you play, you run into random events that can change how your game goes. The enemies use dice too, and you can even mess with their dice to change what they’re about to do.

The diversion has 16 trouble levels, so you’ll be able to make it as challenging as you need. The whole story is about these ancient civilizations that lived in peace until this big disaster called the Crimson Dawn destroyed everything. Now, the descendants of these powerful Oracles are trying to finish the battle that their ancestors couldn’t and save their world. Sounds epic, right?
