Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a first-person shooter that explores the blurred line between humans and technology. In the game, soldiers enhanced by tech are no longer just an idea—they’re the real deal. The game shows this through three modes: the story campaign, multiplayer, and zombie mode.

The story happens in the year 2070, forty years after the second game. Aviation is useless because tech has advanced so much that it can control any flying device. Soldiers can now control their bodies with technology, making death almost meaningless. The main characters are part of a special squad sent to Egypt to rescue the president from rebels.

You can choose from 9 characters, each with unique abilities and weapons. There’s one with thorns that can smash through enemies, another with a bow that fires explosive arrows, and even warriors who control electricity or are super armored. You can also pick your character’s gender and fully customize their appearance using a detailed editor.

The battles happen in different locations, so you’ll never get bored. You’ll fight across maps set in places like Egypt, Switzerland, and Singapore. Playing as a specialist means you need to use both your fighter’s skills and your strategy.

Multiplayer has two main ways to play. One is DeathMatch, where fighters battle in a location, and the other is co-op mode, where up to 4 players can team up and play together.
