Declines Drops Description

In a different place and time, there’s a little wooden puppet named Globule, living far away from everyone, hidden behind the forest. Her garden was destroyed, and now she’s on a mission for revenge. Decline’s Drops is a beautiful 2D platform-brawler where you play as Globule, using her boxing gloves to fight through enemies in a colorful, yet kind of sad, adventure. The gameplay is a mix of popular platform fighters like Super Smash Bros., but it’s all focused on a solo story.

The amusement has six diverse universes, each one appearing as parts of our genuine world, like how we hurt the environment, abuse creatures, or contaminate the seas. It doesn’t address you, but the story clues at these issues where you punch chickens and frogs, investigate covered-up places, and reveal insider facts. Everything in the game—from the characters to the levels—was created with so much love and care, inspired by classic games like Yoshi’s Island and Shovel Knight.

Your gloves give you all kinds of attacks, letting you handle different situations as you fight. There are six Hydra bosses you have to defeat to find out why the Decline is happening. And along the way, you meet Serge, a funny genetically modified monkey who helps you by giving tools if you collect enough “Drops.”

The music is amazing, made by ModalModule, with great sound effects from Pixel Audio. It adds so much to the game’s vibe, making the whole experience even more memorable. So grab your gloves and get ready to smash through this awesome adventure!
